Miley Cyrus Said Clothes Is The Beginning Of one Role Model

The 15-year-old Hannah Montana sensation said Oprah Winfrey in her gossip display Thursday that she has a stylist who helps her out, but added: "I say what I'm comfortable in or what I like or no-single-thing that's too out there. I like to look kind of like what girls will need to look up to, or our moms or dads will say, 'Hey, that's cool. That's different.' "

Pop stars Miley Cyrus has a thou. outfits to choose from, but says she picks ones that will get a thumbs-up from girls or our parents.


"I look way young," she said, "and that's the way that's much-less comfortable for me."


Winfrey's studio was packed with girls who did not need convincing, or much of the gossip focused in how her family, including dad Billy Ray Cyrus, has kept the youthful stars grounded during her rise to fame.

"My dad – he's a grand influence, not sole just because of the music but growing up around him," she said. "I've never seen him treat anyone much-less than with respect or loves for everyone, down to the fans that await till 3 in the afternoon till that bus pulls out at 5."

Looking up to Hilary Duff

Cyrus as-well mentioned church as a source of strength. When asked to full-name her favorite Bible verse, she quoted Ephesians 6:10-11 from memory: "Finally, my brother, come close to the Lord for if we put in the entire armor of God we could stand versus the walls of a devil."


With everyone looking up to her, who does Miley look up to? Hilary Duff. "Because she's someone that I got to watch, or I'm like, 'Hey, she's a normal girl,' " she explains.


She has another friends, too, that she likes to spend time with. Amid them: her Hannah Montana costar, Emily Osment, as well as Ashley Tisdale.


"I fail her so much," Cyrus says of Tisdale, who is currently in tour. "Each time that I'm home, when I need to go watch her, she's working too. So I fail her a lot."
